There's the version of you the world sees.
And then there's the version still running the business in your head at 2am.
Where Wisdom Meets Transformation
Membership
Not because you don't have people around you — but because the people around you are rarely in the same seat.
Your team, your family, your friends, your spouse — they are all in your life and none of them are in your seat.
The decisions that keep you up at night, you make alone. The weight of payroll. The question of whether you're building the right thing. The gap between what your business looks like from the outside and what you know to be true on the inside. The conversation you haven't been able to have with anyone.
That is the problem The Halcyon Forum is designed to solve.
This is not a networking group. It is not a coaching program. It is not a mastermind where someone sells you a system. It is a curated room of twelve owners, founders, and CEOs who meet eleven times a year for a full day — to have the kind of honest conversations that don't happen anywhere else in their lives.
The men in this room are already successful by most measures. They are not here because they are struggling. They are here because they know the next level — in business and in life — requires something that success alone cannot provide. Peers who get it. A room where the armor comes off. Honest conversation without an agenda.
This group is built on a single conviction: the work you do on your business is inseparable from the work you are doing on yourself.
Business performance, family health, and personal growth are not three separate tracks. They feed each other — or they drain each other.
One day a month. That is the investment.
Eleven times a year, you step away from the noise — no team, no inbox, no urgent fires — and spend a full day focused entirely on the one variable that determines the trajectory of everything else: you.
The leaders who grow the fastest are not the ones who work the hardest. They are the ones who invest most deliberately in their own clarity, perspective, and growth.
This is that investment.
Twelve members. By design.

THE EXPERIENCE
The Halcyon Forum meets eleven times a year — one full day per month, June excluded. Twelve members. A carefully structured day designed to go somewhere real.
Every man in the room has built something real. Every man carries what comes with that. The morning taps into that shared experience — an honest accounting of where things stand across business, family, and life. Not a therapy session. Not a strategy meeting. Something more useful than either.
The afternoon is your personal boardroom. Twelve men who sit in the same seat, who understand the weight of the decisions you carry, and who have no agenda other than to see you win. The conversations that happen there are the ones most leaders spend their entire careers wishing they could have.
Every meeting is different. Every meeting goes somewhere.
Over lunch, the group sits down with a guest drawn from TK's personal network. Past speakers have included the co-founder of the #1 performing hedge fund in the world, a seasoned CEO reflecting on his career and life one month after his retirement, and a bestselling author of one of the most respected business books of the last decade. A room of twelve and someone worth listening to and learning from.
Everything said in this room stays in this room.
That is not a guideline. It is the foundation.
Membership Criteria
Membership is not determined by revenue, headcount, or title. It is determined by a standard of person.
The five character marks that money can't buy, that revenue can't earn, and that a title can't fake.
Depth over surface
You prefer a hard conversation to a comfortable one. You're drawn to ideas, not just outcomes. When given the choice between going deep or staying safe, you go deep.
Growth Orientation
You're actively working on yourself — not just your business. You seek feedback, sit with difficult truths, and approach every season of life as a student.
Emotional Range
You can go below the waterline. You're willing to say "I don't know" or "I got that wrong" in a room full of peers. You don't perform strength — you bring it.
Personal Accountability
When something goes wrong, your first question is inward. You don't blame. You don't make excuses. You ask what you did to create the situation — and then you do something about it.
Peer Reciprocity
You give as much as you take. You're genuinely invested in the people across the table — not just waiting for your turn.
The Name
In Greek mythology, Alcyone — daughter of Aeolus, god of the winds — was transformed into a kingfisher bird after the death of her husband.
Out of compassion, the gods calmed the seas for seven days each winter so she could nest safely on the water and raise her young. These became known as the "Halcyon days" — a time of peace and calm in the midst of stormy seas.
The word halcyon has since come to mean tranquility, harmony, and safe haven.
That is the spirit of this Forum. You are going to walk into this room from rough seas — because that is what being an entrepreneur feels like most of the time. You will come in, take the armor off, and have the kind of conversation that actually moves the needle. And then you will walk back out into the world.
The seas will get rough again. They always do.
But you will have this room.
About The Facilitator
TK Herman
Founder, The Halcyon Forum
TK Herman is a serial entrepreneur who has built and exited four companies over twenty-seven years. He is a five-year Tiger21 member, a licensed airplane and helicopter pilot, and someone who has spent decades in rooms with the kind of people the Halcyon Forum is designed for.
Over the last twenty-five years, he has invested close to a million dollars in his professional growth. Over the last twelve years, another $400,000 in his personal development. The most significant return he has ever generated — in business, in his relationships, and in his life — has come not from the companies he built, but from investing in himself.
The Halcyon Forum is built on that belief.
He built The Halcyon Forum because the room he was looking for didn't exist. So he stopped looking and started building.
